SOCA Home

The program children celebrate the birthday of Esther one of the children on the sponsorship program;

At SOCA Home, children have opportunities to learn different hands on skills ranging from tailoring and art crafts, hair dressing to being exposed to agricultural skills in both faming and rearing domestic animals…during school holidays which complements the academic knowledge attained in schools equipping the kids with life skills that are much more practical in real life.

The SOCA home provides a safe environment free of survival for the children on our sponsorship program where they are able to dream and get engaged in worthwhile activities that equips them with life skills and shapes a positive character.

Children learn tailoring skills, crafting and engage in several playing games that not only helps in brain development and also in physical body health.

SOCA Skilling program.

SOCA runs an initiative through which people in communities especially in the slams get hair dressing and cosmetology training skills from skilled personnel on charitable arrangement, People from these communities get in touch with SOCA leaders and gather for community training in their respective communities through referrals.

 SOCA’s vision is to establish a training center with a comprehensive program covering variety of discipline, from which beneficiaries from target communities choose to learn different skills training, ranging from tailoring, fashion and design, urban farming, cosmetology, hair dressing etc

The SOCA Farm

SOCA runs a sizable organizations’ sustainable projects in agricultures growing food staffs and rearing different domestic animals whose primary goals are to provide food for the children in the home, supplement donations in meeting the kids scholastic needs, and providing opportunities for people in the community and the children to learn effective urban farming skills.

The farm grows both vegetable foods like greens and other edible foods including banana plantain, sweet potatoes, cassava, beans and maize. A number of domestic animals are also reared on the farm including chicken, pigs and goats; the agricultural projects are in many ways a sustainable initiative to help provide for the needs of other relief and development programs that the organization operates.
